Not Sure, but i remeber it was on the news. it went to court aswell.

I think that particular Chinese student got a suspended sentence.  I could be wrong though.  Do you think he should get more?  
Having said that, I don't believe that particular Chinese student committed any major driving offence in the past.  Therefore, he got away of going into the goal.

To my opinion, this guy has heaps driving offence in the past, he deserves to go to goal.  I have been to goal (on a tour with the legal prac), I think even 7 years is long time.  A friend of my works in there told me the state have to spend $80,000 per year on a prisoner.
