请问如何登记GP呢?
You should ask your colleagues/friends which GP(s) they will recommend. It can take weeks or months to register for a GP. Without a GP, it is almost impossible for you to get proper medical care here.
To choose a GP, you need to note:
- word of mouth. There are many lousy GPs and specialists here. You don't want to waste your time and money with them.
- whether the GP has a private practice or he/she works in a medical centre (or clinic). In a medical centre or clinic, when your GP is on leave, you can request to see other GPs in the same clinic. In a private practice, if the GP is not available, you will have to wait (for weeks or months) for your GP to return.
- If you are covered by Medicare (http://www.humanservices.gov.au/ ... s/medicare/medicare) and if the GP practice or medical centre accepts Bulk Bill. That will mean you don't have to pay for the consultation. However, not many clinics in Tasmania accept Bulk Bill.
To register for a GP, call the practice or clinic and tell them you want to register as a new patient. You may also ask the receptionist if the practice or clinic accepts Bulk Bill. The receptionist will tell you if they will register you. If yes, she will book you a time to see a GP and she will guide you through the process.
Many practices and clinics in Launceston these days do not accept new patients.
I am in a hurry to leave the house this morning. If you or vickygirls85 want an answer in Chinese, please let me know. I'll do when I have time tonight. |
