If you are in Launceston, go to Tasmania Seafood Market on 379 Invermay Road (tel: 6326 3936). Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/tasseafood. It is opposite to the Woolworth shopping complex on the way from Mowbray to UTAS. They sell live lobsters, Tasmanian king crabs and oysters. Occasionally, they have live fishes as well, even live pippis (clams). The shop is owned by a few Chinese partners in Launceston. If you have anything particular in mind, you can order with Katy (a Chinese lady from Qingdao) there and she will give you a call when they have stock.
From time to time, I got tuna and salmon there for sashimi. |
