据ELC老师说，明天整个university of Tasmania的教师都罢工，人称"Strike Day"，因为塔大教师的收入是所有澳洲大学教师收入倒数第二还是第三位，所以要求政府提高待遇，选择了罢工，明天不上课不会被记旷课。
但是我问了问已经正式入学的同学，都说不知道这事。难道正式上课的同学都要继续上课？
ELC的manage亲自在课间来每个教室，说明天教室，电脑室都照常开放，学生愿意来的就来，不来的也不会记旷课，只是，不会有老师出现..........

About 90 per cent of union members voted for the strike after a formal ballot was conducted by the Australian Electoral Office.
A meeting of members in Launceston yesterday endorsed the action.
National Tertiary Education Union state president Kelvin Michael said the union's 405 members were frustrated by 12 months of negotiations with UTAS.
Mr Michael said the onus was on management to resolve the situation.
"We are happy to sit down with university management and come to some sort of agreement," Mr Michael said.
UTAS director of human resources Stuart Andrews said the university was disappointed that the NTEU had chosen to cause disruption on the campus.
"This is part of a bigger NTEU industrial campaign and coincides with NTEU strike action at a number of Victorian universities," he said.
Mr Andrews said UTAS had put a number of propositions to the unions in response to claims about fixed-term and casual employment.
"UTAS has previously announced a 4 per cent pay increase for staff to take effect on July 1," Mr Andrews said.
"UTAS remains hopeful that these issues can be resolved by agreement."
The NTEU represents staff from UTAS, the Menzies Centre, the English Language Centre and the Australian Maritime College.
Mr Michael said the key negotiations were job security, the casualisation of the workforce, conditions for casual staff, the number of fixed-term contracts, the need for more permanent staff, fair and manageable workloads and a single agreement to cover all staff.
