A SKATEBOARDER has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Hobart's CBD.
Police said the the 20-year-old male skated straight out in front of the Fern Tree bus which had just pulled out of a bus stop near Franklin Square and was heading up Macquarie St.
The man was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital with suspected leg injuries. The bus driver and passengers were shaken but not injured.
The incident -- which happened just before 2pm -- occurred just metres from the scene where two 12-year-old girls were hit by a car after crossing against the lights on Saturday. The girls were lucky to escape serious injury
